What is organic clothing?
Organic clothing is the clothing that is formed by 100% naturally grown cotton that retract themselves from the use of pesticides and chemicals on the plants. These clothing apparel is prepared by all the natural processes with a proper working environment.
Non organic clothing
The clothing that we use today is formed by all the unnatural resources. They use pesticides and insecticides on their cotton products to get more yield of the cotton which are used for clothing. Through these cotton the cotton fibers are taken which are then blended and combined with synthetic fibers to give us the end product.
Why should we avoid using synthetic clothing
Microfibers contaminate the water and aquatic life in rivers
The process of making non-organic clothing releases microfibers when they are washed. These microfibers not only contaminate the water they are in but they also enter into the fish and crabs body disturbing their aquatic life.
Contamination of soil
The use of chemicals on plants make the soil infertile if they are used for prolonged times thus affecting the lands value to produce crops making it not cultivable in the coming future.
Oceans are polluted
The microfiber that comes from the cloth making process pollute the ocean when they enter the ocean through the lakes and rivers which enter in it.
Allergies to skin for babies and adults
The chemicals are not completely removed in the final product of the clothing. So when we wear the chemicals react with our skin that can cause irritation or rashes on our skin. Since the skin of the babies are more sensitive and soft they are readily affected by them.
Cotton products such as cotton oil, cotton seed meal is polluted
The food products and their byproducts are also contaminated by the use of pesticides and chemicals that are used on them.

Check for global organic textile standard (GOTS) organic label on the clothing
