Cold or hot shower : Who is the winner

Showers

People take a bath daily to clean the body to look beautiful and refreshing.Some people love warm showers while other prefer cold showers. Let us see the benefits of both to decide the winner.

Cold showers



  1. Immunity and better blood circulation: When the cold water touches the body the blood vessels under the skin contract which increases the blood circulation.
  2. Speeds up muscle recovery: The inflation and muscle recovery is faster when the ice bath shower is given to sportsman or athletic who are in pain. It also helps in pain relief.
  3. Healthy Skin and hair stronger: The shower closes the pores of skin and scalp by tightening it. Thus the moisture in the skin is preserved and the dirt cannot easily enter the skin pores. On the head the scalp holds the hair follicles more strongly thus reducing the hair fall.
  4. Calms the itchy skin: The shower can overcome the sensation of scratch.
  5. Burn fat: Our body has white fat and brown fat. White fat is stored if we have more calories then required whereas brown fat is there to maintain the body temperature. The shower helps to promote brown fat which can cause white fat to loose to some extent.

  2. Relief of sore muscle: The hot shower increases the circulation of blood which can cause a relief to sore muscles reducing the pain in the person.
  3. Better Skin and healthy glow: The hot shower opens the pores of the skin helping it to unblock the pores and cleaning the skin pores by softening it and making it healthy.
  4. Induce sleep: The shower can hep you laid back and relax giving you a nice and sound sleep after you sleep by taking it at night.

Winner

Its a tie in this situation so take the shower who love to take. Thus the lukewarm water is the winner.
